Een plant in een pot heeft vaker water nodig dan dezelfde plant in open grond. De app houdt daar rekening mee. A plant in a pot needs watering more often than the same plant in open ground. The app accounts for that.

Bij elkaar ongeveer €230 per jaar. Bij tien betalende tuinen is dat gedekt, en niets meer dan dat. Fotoherkenning is gratis tot 500 foto's per dag; komen we daar ooit boven, dan wordt dat een rekening van rond de €1.000 per jaar. Daarom staat die regel erbij. About €230 a year in total. Ten paying gardens covers that, and nothing more. Photo recognition is free up to 500 photos a day; if we ever go over that it becomes a bill of around €1,000 a year. That is why the line is listed.
Ik verdien hier niets aan. Er zit geen marge in de €25 en mijn eigen uren zitten er niet in. Het bedrag dekt de rekeningen hierboven, en dat is het. Komen er meer tuinen bij, dan kan de prijs omlaag, niet omhoog. Hoe meer mensen meedoen, hoe minder het per tuin hoeft te kosten. I make nothing on this. There is no margin in the €25 and my own hours are not in it. The amount covers the bills above, and that is all. If more gardens join, the price can go down, not up. Checked on 29 September 2026: PictureThis Pro lists at €34.99 a year in the Dutch App Store, and Planta at around $36 to $48 a year depending on the offer you are shown. Those are good apps, with a bigger plant database than this one. They simply work differently, and they were built for something else. Their prices change; check them yourself before signing up for anything.
